About Leonida Guides

Leonida Guides is a fan-run resource dedicated to Grand Theft Auto VI, the long-awaited return to the state of Leonida, a sun-soaked, neon-drenched reimagining of Florida that Rockstar Games first revealed in December 2023. The site covers the map, the characters, the storyline, the release details, and the steady drip of news that surrounds one of the most anticipated game launches in history.

I'm Roxy, the editor behind Leonida Guides. The site exists because I wanted a place that took GTA 6 seriously, written carefully, with the same attention the games themselves get from the people who make them. I have been playing the series since the early top-down days: Liberty City on a dial-up connection, San Andreas on a CRT, Vice City on whatever hardware I could get my hands on at the time. Leonida Guides is my attempt to pass that enthusiasm on to the next wave of players who are discovering the series through VI.

Who it's for: newcomers who want a straightforward rundown of what GTA 6 actually is; returning fans who want a single place to track official announcements; and the people in the middle who just want a trustworthy answer to "wait, is that real, or a leak?"

How the content gets made

Every article on the site is researched independently. I start with official Rockstar Games announcements and Newswire posts, then cross-reference with verified gaming press (IGN, Eurogamer, Kotaku, and GamesRadar among others) before anything goes live. Community sources, datamines, and rumors are clearly labeled as such; I try never to present speculation as fact. When something turns out to be wrong, I update the article and note what changed.
